This guided meditation is based on the Celine Dion song, In some small way. It is a song that touches my heart every time I hear it. It is a message of going into the world, offering kindness to ourselves and others unselfishly and receiving immeasurable gifts in return. As a meditation practitioner, part of our endeavor is to find it within to Love Ourselves, Love Others, Respect Mother earth, and in doing so, finding peace.
I'd like to take a few moments this evening to share the ways those of you here offer small deeds to yourself and others? Things as simple as a smile to a stranger, kind words to yourself, holding a door for the person behind you, arriving at a parking spot simultaneously and waving the other person into it. Is there anyone who'd like to give an idea or 2?

Take a moment to make yourself
comfortable. Lying down may offer you the easiest path to
relaxation and a state of meditation.

I will invite the bell 3 times and proceed with the guided meditation. When I invite the bell for 3 rings a second time, that will signal the end of our Practice. You are welcome to depart in silence, taking the peace of your practice with you. If you wish, You may stay for a post meditation discussion.
Lets Begin - Invite Bell 3 times
Softly Close your eyes, Gently Breathe In and hold 12, Breath Out and hold 12, Breathe in again, 12, allow the breath to flow, letting all worries and tension melt away., relaxing a little more on each out breath. Breathing In, 1 2, out, 12. In, 12, out 12, In 12, Out 12,

Imagine you are on a walk and along the way you come upon a tree, standing so tall, so proud, sun light, streaming through the fall leaves. Though it is standing among other trees, it seems special, even though it is standing there In such an ordinary way

Continue natural but deep breathing In,…..Out….. you are still in the forest and as you l look around, even though you are standing still, Everything thing around you seems to keep changing.

Breathe In, Breathe out,
As you are looking off into the beautiful sunlit grove of trees a leaf drops from its branch and catches your eye, it is caught on a gentle breeze and floats softly down and lands in the ripples of a steadily flowing stream. You see that leaf being carried away and in your minds eye you imagine it caught in the slow current and flowing all the way to the sea. Imagine yourself floating on that stream, feel the water carry you away, feel the warm of the sun, gentle breeze and the sensation of just floating away to the sea.

Breathe In, Breathe Out
Consider you are the tree and the leafs are your love. Each time you offer kindness you are giving a little of our love away
Maybe its a moment when you’ve chosen to meet in the middle
Possibly it is in words that you chose say.
Ssshhh, can you hear the whisper, of what your heart needs to say? If you let it speak to you, will it make a difference in you or others in some small way.

Breathe In, Breathe Out
If you look very closely, you will see, in your heart lies a key
If you believe, then that key can unlock your destiny
Breathing in and Breathing out, Look within and you’ll find
Everything you’re heart longs for.

As you Breathe In and you let that breath out,
May you cherish each moment you live, and may you know that all the love that you give will go on and on and on in those you
have gifted it to.
In your mind imagine looking up and seeing a sky so clear and blue and you can feel that sky lying deep inside of you. Let it fill you with hope, with peace, with the belief that anything is possible if you
give a little of your love away and make a difference in Some Small Way.

Remembering on each out breath to relax, to let go.
Keeping your eyes closed, bring a soft movement to your fingers and your toes, your arms, now your legs, Allow yourself allow stretch. If possible keep your eyes closed and come to a sitting position.

With a soft flutter of your lids begin to open your eyes,keeping your gaze down and slowly bring your eyes to the horizon. Take a few moments in silence to scan your body and note how your mind feels.
